Paying for Pro

Billing: Billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. Tax is added where it applies, based on where you are, and is calculated at checkout.
Renewal and cancelling: A subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Paddle’s subscription portal. Pro stays available until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and your workspace then returns to ArcLedger Free.
Trial: There’s no separate Pro trial. ArcLedger Free has no time limit.

Using Pro

Your computers: One subscription is for one person, active on up to two computers at a time. To move to another computer, release the old one on ArcanEdge’s account page and connect the new one. A computer that hasn’t refreshed for 30 days no longer holds its place, and loses it once another computer is connected in its place.
Working offline: ArcLedger checks your subscription about once a day. Offline, Pro keeps working until the computer’s current licence runs out. That is no later than 14 days after the service last confirmed your subscription, and an earlier end date, such as the end of a paid or grace period, still applies. Pro comes back only when your subscription qualifies and ArcLedger gets and verifies a current licence. The work stored on your computer isn’t deleted.
Failed payments: If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays available for 14 days from the first failed attempt while the payment is retried.
When Pro ends: The work and billing records stored on your computer aren’t automatically deleted. Estimate & Quote records become read-only and exportable. You have 14 days to choose which two projects stay active; if you don’t choose, the two most recently active ones do. The others are paused, not deleted. Records held by ArcanEdge’s subscription service follow the privacy policy.

Purchases and refunds

Refunds: Refunds are handled by Paddle under ArcLedger’s refund policy, which also explains what a refund does to your access.
Who you buy from: Paddle.com is the online reseller and Merchant of Record for ArcLedger Pro. Paddle handles checkout, payment, tax, invoices and refunds. ArcLedger is published by ArcanEdge LLC.
